Prescription Drug Discounts – You Can Save a Ton of Money!

Prescription drug costs are completely out of control and our doctors and elected officials are not looking out for our best interests as the American pharmaceutical industry continues to reap excessive profits. If the average consumer knew what he knows, we would pay a fraction of what we all pay for drugs. When it occurred to me that my monthly prescription drug cost was nearly $700, I decided to spend as much time as needed to make sure there wasn’t a cheaper way to fill my prescriptions. What I discovered changed my life and the lives of my family, employees, and friends.

A couple of years ago, I had half of my left vocal cord removed due to acid reflux damage. My ENT doctor told me that I would now have to use Nexium for the rest of my life and gave me my prescription. My wife and I went to the nearest pharmacy and she went in and bought the Nexium. As she drove home, I asked how much it cost. She said, “$190.” I asked, “for 90 days?” She said, “no, for 30 days.” We turned the car around and headed straight back to the pharmacy.

I walked in and told the pharmacist, “I want a generic, please.” He said, “there is no such thing!” I said, “take the pills and give me my money back. I’d rather die of acid reflux than poverty!” I threw out the recipe. That night I got very angry. I connected and educated myself very quickly. I spent about three or four hours doing the research. The next day, I went back to the doctor’s office and told the receptionist that I wanted the prescription again because she was going to buy the generic. I didn’t tell him her name.

When she came back with the new prescription, she had the generic name Nexium (Esomeprazole) written on it. Can you believe it? Doctors don’t give a damn what we spend. I’m not sure why. A doctor friend tells me it’s because doctors just don’t have time to discuss with patients how to pay for drugs. But I suspect the truth is that if they told us what they knew, it might slow down the constant parade of beautiful long-legged pharmaceutical representatives showing up in short skirts with briefcases full of free samples. If you’ve ever been in a doctor’s waiting room for more than fifteen minutes (who hasn’t?), you know what I mean. It’s the only thing I enjoy about going to see my doctors. I’m digressing!

So what is our government doing to protect us from the abuses that are so apparent to all of us? Our elected officials do nothing to protect us from drug company rape and looting here in the US because they love those free private jet rides to exotic ‘health conference’ destinations.

They also need the huge political contributions that the drug companies give them, out of our pockets! It’s so bad that prescriptions for Medicaid patients are often filled with brand-name drugs Suhagra 100mg, even when generics are available. This costs us, taxpayers, many hundreds of millions a year. But, the doctors receive their visits and the senators and congressmen continue to reserve rooms in the Caribbean with money from the pharmaceutical companies. And we pay it all!

Back to the point, if you were to do what most people are currently doing, you’d now be spending around $700 a month on prescription drugs. The research I did means that I now spend less than $100 per month. So despite what our doctors and elected officials may not do for us, there is a way to take care of ourselves.

When considering the alternatives to paying the high drug costs associated with traditional purchases, equally important issues for savings are the legality and safety of the process used. Like everything that is done on the Internet, you have to be very careful to stay away from the unscrupulous who prey on the less informed. And they thrive in the discount drug industry. They are commonly known as cyber doctors and should be avoided at all costs. The key is that if they don’t require a legitimate prescription written by a doctor based on a physical exam, they are not legitimate.

You don’t have to be held hostage by the American pharmaceutical industry. Through careful research, you have alternatives. After thoroughly researching this matter, I reduced my prescription costs by 85%. Also, I am 100% sure that what I am doing is 100% legal and absolutely safe. If you’re interested in learning my personal process, I’ve written an ebook that will have you accomplishing what I do in half an hour. Even those covered by insurance plans can realize savings of over 50% if they used the formula I offer.
